Fernando J. Aguire is being recognized for his sustained dedication and personal commitment to the AIChE Management Division with a smile and in a friendly yet professional manner. Fernando has been essential to the day-to-day operations of the division, generously giving his personal time volunteering when needed for special projects with an amazing attention to detail and always delivering outstanding performance. Under Fernando’s always timely leadership and dedication, the Management Division is on a sustained course for growth and rewarding membership service.
Fernando has served as an officer for the Management Division in ALL its positions (something that has not been done by anyone). He has participated in many Management Division programming sessions and workshops, contributing his great knowledge of leadership and project management to the greater AIChE membership. His mature leadership skillset is in great demand by the division membership with practicable concepts that are not easily available elsewhere.
Many of Fernando’s colleagues have had the pleasure of a professional working relationship during a difficult period for the Management Division. Fernando was the dependable division member there offering steadfast council and a confident vision for the growth of the Management Division. These leadership traits at a critical time are a hallmark of a strong sense of the perfect timing to step up to lead. The Management Division leadership is indebted to Fernando for offering his aspirational leadership model during that time.
