Safety & Health Division Members,

 

If you are planning to attend the AIChE Spring Meeting and Global Congress on Process Safety (GCPS) in Houston this March, consider joining us at our annual dinner on Tuesday, March 14, from 6:00 pm – 9:00 pm.

 

The dinner is a great networking opportunity, in addition to a great meal. The 2023 Walton-Miller Award winner will be recognized at this dinner. This award is presented annually to one of our most esteemed colleagues for a lifetime of service to the profession. And we are privileged to have a great speaker lined up: Rob Fisher, President of Fisher Improvement Technologies. Rob is a pioneer in Human and Organizational Performance (HOP) and all aspects of organizational learning including incorporating the understanding of personality diversity into risk management. He will be speaking about HOPerational Excellence – Practical Applications of the Science. You won’t want to miss it!

 

Key points to be aware of:

  • The dinner is at Pappasito’s, NRG Stadium location, 2515 S. Loop West, Houston, TX.
  • The ticket price includes complimentary bus transportation to and from the restaurant. Of course, you are free to arrange your own transportation as well.
  • Buses will leave from the Hilton of the Americas promptly at 5:30 PM.
  • The menu is as follows:
    • Appetizer – Chile Con Queso
    • Entrée – Famous Fajitas
    • Dessert – Tres Leches Cake
    • Soft drinks, iced tea, and coffee will be provided with the meal. Additionally, one drink ticket will be provided for beer, wine, or house margaritas.
  • Please email me, , with any dietary restrictions, so we can make arrangements with the restaurant.

You may register for the Safety & Health Division Dinner (Evening Event) online when registering for the GCPS.
